What we do

Invite only, Pi promotes high-impact philanthropy and world class social investment practice in a private, pitch-free and confidential environment. Pi connects you to peer philanthropists, leaders and experts working across the social development sector, through strategy workshops, educational programmes, insight journeys and learning opportunities. All the time honing your and your Foundation’s strategy and increasing your impact on the causes you care about.

How we do it

We bring over 30 years of practical experience and expertise to provide education and strategic advice to philanthropists, their families and boards to maximise the impact of their giving. We give you the skills, knowledge, expertise, know-how and connections you need to be impactful with your giving. We advise and mentor and we create world-class peer learning opportunities. We help you identify your values and your leverage and develop your philanthropy and social investment strategies.

Our Organisation

Pi is a non-profit, social enterprise, founded by Jo Ensor and supported by a network of expert social change practitioners and partners. passionate about impact, with over 30 years experience of working with, advising and educating philanthropists.

Driven by the experience that philanthropy education can be transformational and that strategic, informed and committed philanthropists can significantly increase their impact, we work in partnership with hundreds of philanthropists globally, their families, Foundation staff and boards.
